22/12/2008 - Jolly Green Santa is coming to town
Come along and give that unwanted item a second chance to shine!
Red Santa gives us presents at Christmas, whereas Green Santa accepts donations of unwanted presents and replaced items after Christmas. These items will be given to charity shops and local community groups. They will then be resold and the money raised will benefit others as well as preventing more being sent to landfill.
Green Santa is part of the Choose2Reuse campaign, backed by the Association of Charity Shops, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Waste Partnership (RECAP), Cambridgeshire Community Reuse and Recycling Network and Donarbon Waste Management Ltd.
Green Santa will be at the following venues just after Christmas with his sleigh to accept your unwanted Christmas presents. You will also be able to find out more about the Choose2Reuse Campaign:
