Cllr. Peter Murphy from the partnership says:
“September provides us with many opportunities to celebrate the delicious food grown on our Cambridgeshire farms. It can also be a time for reflecting on our concerns about how much of this delicious food we might waste. I hope the Cambridgeshire Food Lovers will take the opportunity to learn how to waste less at all our events.
“September can also be a costly time of year for families, when school uniforms, clubs and bus fares need to be paid for, and this is an opportunity to save up to £50 a month by making a better use of their food.”
