Schools & Recycling Education: Cambridge City
As part of the Sustainable City initiative, Cambridge City offers
schools free workshops and presentations during the SCRAP (Schools
Recycling Awareness Program) fortnight, held during February and March
each year. Cambridge schools have the following choices, all suitable
for 6-11 year olds:
- A workshop on Waste & Litter
- A workshop with papermaking
- An assembly with games and music by City Rangers on recycling and keeping the city clean
- An assembly on waste and recycling either with an environmental theatre group or from the local landfill site. (Subject to availability)
