Have fun with RECAP Robbie

RECAP Robbie is giving you one last chance to enter the poetry and photo competitions. The closing date is now 18 March. Click on RECAP Robbie for more information on the competitions and how to enter.

This is an exciting new web resource that has been created for the whole family to enjoy. It is packed with activities for Key Stage one and Key Stage two pupils and their families to do at home and there are two competitions which pupils in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough can enter. These are to write an acrostic poem (an acrostic is a poem that has a word down the side, click on RECAP Robbie, for an example of a acrostic poem) and a challenge to take photographs illustrating the phrase 'Everybody Recycles.'

The application offers families an opportunity to learn about recycling in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, with a focus on paper and card recycling.

The website is also a useful resource that can be utilised by schools and teachers.
